Grrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am really pissed off at my roommate right now and I am hoping that he gets kicked out because I am not going to live with him any longer after he stole my keys and lied to me about them. However he could be charged with Grand Larceny because in addition to my dorm key being on the lanyard my car key was as well.

Wednesday I came back after my class and my roommate had left a note saying he had misplaced his key. Well that happens to anyone at some point so I didn't think anything of it. That night I set my key down next to my stuff that I needed for my classes the next morning and went to bed.
The next morning I got up and my key was gone and my roommate claimed he didn't know where it has disappeared to and he helped me look for them. I went to class and then checked with the Student Housing office to see if my key had been turned in. It hadn't.That night my roommate claimed he had bought a new key from the student housing office. Well the next day I went into the Director of Student Housings office and my roommates key had been turned in. It turns out that my roommate had taken my keys. However he lied to me the whole time and through most of when the RA was talking to him. Also since my car keys were on the keychain it is considered Grand Larceny according to my Dad.
The worst thing in the world is having a roommate though
it depends on the roommate. I miss the roommate I had last semester. He was a great guy and roommate.
so did you get your car keys back? did your roommate finally admit to taking your keys? and why exactly did you change rooms in the first place?
yes I got my car keys back and he gave them to me in person shortly before our ra came up to talk to him about this. he admitted he had stolen my keys after our ra pointed out several holes in his stories such as him having claimed to found his keys and another version of his story where he bought another key from the housing director. the housing director had never seen him and you have to go through him to get a new key.
I moved to a different dorm this semester because I was sick of living next door to football jocks who were playing music full blast all night which made it impossible to do homework or sleep.
